SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South women's basketball team scored 95 points and shot 48% from the floor, as the Tigers cruise to a 95-32 dub over the Scotties of Agnes Scott College in the final day of the Sewanee Hoops Classic, Saturday afternoon from Juhan Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-A back-and-forth battle for the first five minutes of the game, Agnes Scott saw a four-point lead vanish quickly. Trailing 10-6 with 6:10 left in the opening period, Sewanee finished the quarter with a 15-1 run to quickly flip the score to the Purple and White's favor with 2:17 left in the period.
-The Tigers used a strong second quarter, leading 33-15 with 7:31 remaining. However, after an Ellia Chance layup, Sewanee held Agnes Scott scoreless for over 10 minutes between the second and third quarters, going on a 24-0 run to lead by 40 points, 57-17.
-From the 6:01 mark in the first quarter to th end of the game, Sewanee outscored Agnes Scott 89-22 and shot under 50% from the field. On defense, the Tigers held the Scotties to 17.9% from the field, and did not allow a 3-pointer.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Five Tigers recorded double figures in the point column, led by a career day for
Kayla Antoine. The junior dropped new highs in points and rebounds with 20 and 17, respectively. Additionally, it is the first 20-point game in her career.
-
Lilly Phillips also set a new career-high in points with 18 on six made 3-pointers.
Olivia Falvey posted her first collegiate double-double with 18 points and 10 boards and added seven dimes.

Faith Humphrey scored 16 points and grabbed seven boards, while
Shay Conn scored 11.
-As a team, Sewanee posted 20 assists on 31 shots on shot 48.4% from the field. Forcing 13 Scotties turnovers, the Tigers scored 23 off turnovers.
-Out-rebounding ASC, 57-31, the Purple and White collected 15 on the offensive glass and converted 16 second chance points.

-Ellia Chance and Sydney Evans each scored eight points for the Scotties.
