-Millsaps did come back and make it interesting, 23-17, but the Tigers won back-to-back points, with the clinching point coming off a

-The story came in the fourth set. Sewanee trailed 21-13 and used an 8-1 run to cut the deficit to one, 22-21. Despite an Alyssa Jolly kill to get Millsaps back to a two-point lead, Sewanee tied it up on a
Laurel Burkhardt kill and a Millsaps attack error.
-The teams would eventually go into "lingering death", with each team tied at 24 points. Millsaps had four different opportunities to send the match to a fifth set, but back-to-back attack errors by the Majors gave the Tigers the victory in four, 30-28.
