HOW IT HAPPENED
-It took time for Sewanee to get going in the contest, as they trailed 15-4 with 15 minutes left in the opening half. However, the Purple and White went on a 16-7 run in a nine-minute span to make it a 22-20 deficit.
-However, Rhodes pushed the lead to nine, 39-30, at the halftime intermission.
-The hosts had the home gym on their side to start the second half, as the Lynx went on an 11-0 run to start the frame before the Tigers had to burn a timeout. However, that did not stop Rhodes from pushing the lead to as high as 29 points en route to the team's highest point total in conference play and the second-highest on the season.
