HOW IT HAPPENED
-The month layoff did not phase the Tigers in this contest, especially in doubles play, as two of the three flights each recorded shutouts.
-In singles, Emma Smith, ranked fifth in the first NCAA Atlantic South Region Rankings, secured her sixth win of the season with a shutout of Madelyn Savage at the No. 1 position.
-Caroline Adams recorded her fourth straight win and seventh overall with a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 4, while Nicole Nowak and Catherine Owen each won their sixth contest of the year.
