ATLANTA - The University of the South men's soccer team saw its season come to an end on Friday night from Oglethorpe University, as the Colonels of Centre College took the semifinal match of the 2021 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Men's Soccer Tournament, 4-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Centre struck the scoreboard first in the 28th minute before adding a penalty kick goal in the 36th minute to lead 2-0 at the half.
-The colonels used two more goals (72', 75') to seal the match to advance to the tourney championship.
-Sewanee did out-shoot Centre, 10-8, in the second half, but the Colonels limited the Tigers with their shots on goal. CC posted eight on-target shots and limited the Purple and White to four in 90 minutes.

Severin Velasco each took three shots during the match. All of the three shots Velasco took were on-target.

JP Furman (8-7-1) stopped four shots in 90 minutes of action.

-Haydon Korfhage made four saves as he earned the clean sheet in full time.
