ATLANTA - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) released on Wednesday its weekly awards for swimming and diving.
Mary Louise LeMieux and
Olivia Durfee from the University of the South swept the Women's Swimmer and Diver Athlete of the Week awards.

This past weekend at the Igloo Invitational hosted by Sewanee, LeMieux won three individual events, all personal bests. She swam winning times in the 500 freestyle (5:09.45), the 200 freestyle (1:56.40, Prelim of 1:56.02) and the 100 freestyle (52.24, prelim of 52.09). Additionally, her 100 free prelim time of 52.09 seconds was a school and pool record.
The freshman also contributed on all five relays for the Tigers, splitting 23.85 in the 200 free relay, 54.45 on the 400 Medley, 1:58.80 on the 800 free relay, 23.99 on the 200 Medley Relay and 53.37 on the 400 free relay. She was also a part of an Igloo Invite record in the 800 freestyle relay.
Olivia Durfee, Women's SAA Diver of the Week
The senior won both the one-meter and three-meter boards at the Igloo Invitational this past weekend. She scored 410.45 points on the three-meter, 11 dives event and 422.55 on the one-meter, 11 dives. Both scores rank in the top-ten of all time for Sewanee divers.
The Tigers return to action on Jan. 15 against Transylvania.
