SEWANEE, Tenn. - The University of the South women's soccer team battled a nationally ranked opponent for the second time this season, as the Tigers were defeated by No. 21 Emory University, 3-0, Tuesday evening from Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-The visitors did not waste time with an early goal 1:16 into the match, as Olivia McBerry found Grace Reyer's pass for the score.
-Six and a half minutes later, the Eagles' Aubrey Blanchard netted the goal off a Lindsey Breskow corner kick.
-Breskow added an 88th minute goal for Emory, as they out-shot Sewanee, 23-5, on the night and 15-2 on shots on goal.
-Emory is ranked 21st in the latest D3soccer.com Poll and is receiving votes in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll.
