Box Score CONWAY, Ark. - The Sewanee men's basketball team was able to cut a deficit that was as high as 18 points to two late in the second half, but the Warriors of Hendrix College earned the 85-81 victory on Sunday afternoon inside Grove Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-In last week's contest, the Tigers started the contest on a 13-0 run. On Sunday, the Warriors returned the favor with a 22-4 in the first 10:30 of the game.
-The Tigers were able to cut the deficit to 11 points, 47-36, at the break.
-With five and a half minutes left in regulation, the Tigers saw themselves done one bucket, 66-64, after two free throws by Jordan Warlick, but the home team in the Warriors would never relinquish the lead as they went on a 9-0 run in about a two-minute span to seal the contest.
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Joey Knox recorded his best conference performance of the season with 28 points on 9-of-14 shooting, including a 6-of-7 mark from downtown. He also added seven rebounds.
-Ryan Starr totaled 19 points and added five rebounds and three assists.
-Michael Barry dropped 11 points, while Jordan Warlick posted 10 points, eight rebounds and three assists.
HENDRIX KEY STATISTICS
-Seth Stanley posted 22 points to lead the Warriors, while Jacob Link posted 19 points, nine rebounds and seven dimes.
