HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee swept doubles play, as Ellie Czura/Catherine Owen and Caroline Adams/Mary Jane McCaghren took down their opponents at the No. 2 and 3 flights, respectively, by similar 8-6 scores.
-In singles, the Purple and Gold won four of six matchups. At the No. 6, Caroline Adams recorded a 6-0, 6-0 shutout over Tricia Sculco.
-With the win on Saturday, the Sewanee women's tennis program has won 40 straight regular season conference matches. Including the conference tournament, the Tigers have won 58 consecutive matches against SAA competition.
