-The duo of Christina Merchant and Ellie Czura downed Vickie Ip and Kelsey Chen 8-6 to secure the lone win in doubles play for Sewanee. The Amherst duo is ranked ninth in the Northeast region.
-In singles, No. 32 Clementina Davila used a third set to upset No. 10 Camille Smukler 6-1, 4-6, 10-8. Now 8-2 on the year, she has personally won her third match in a row.
-Christina Merchant, ranked 15th in the Atlantic South region, also went three sets to earn her win, downing Ip 7-6, 1-6, 10-6 to win her third in a row.
