Women's Soccer Ends Regular Season at Centre

DANVILLE, Ky. - The Sewanee women's soccer team were unable to douse the fire of Centre's strikers, falling to the Colonels, 5-0, Saturday afternoon.

Centre (12-3-2, 7-0-0) scored twice in the first half before tallying three more in the second half.

Sewanee (5-8-1, 3-3-1) was only able to muster two shots, both on goal, for the contest.

Savannah Williams (3-3-1) saved six shots in 64 minutes in goal.

With the regular season in the books, the Tigers will next prepare for the quarterfinals of the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament. The opponent and time for the quarterfinals will be announced at a later date. The bracket will be released Sunday at noon ET / 11 a.m. CT.
