Covenant scores a late goal to get past Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. (Sept. 15, 2015) – Despite dominating possession, the Sewanee women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision against Covenant, Tuesday, at Puett Field.

Overall, the Tigers outshot Covenant 12-5. They also had a 4-2 advantage in corners.

Despite the lack of opportunities for the Scots, Covenant broke the scoreless tie when Ruth Terry netted the game-winner in the 86th minute.

Mary "Sissy" Frank led Sewanee with four shots.

The Tigers return to action with a 2:00 p.m. match at Agnes Scott, Saturday.
