Nationally-ranked No. 7 Emory tops Sewanee, 3-0

ATLANTA (Sept. 27, 2014) – Nationally-ranked No. 7 Emory defeated the Sewanee men's soccer team 3-0 Saturday at the Woodruff P.E. Center.

The Eagles stayed unbeaten with three goals, including two from forward Sebastia Hardington.

Emory got on the board in the 13th minute, when Hardington scored off back-to-back touch passes from teammates Dylan Price and Jason McCartney.

After halftime, Price would score with a shot over Sewanee keeper Conrad Bandoroff in the 56th minute.

Hardington would add one final insurance goal in the 84th minute.

Emory finished with a 21-6 advantage in shots.

Sewanee will begin Southern Athletic Association (SAA) play with a 3:30 p.m. match next Saturday against Centre.
