Zolper nets game-winner against Hendrix

CONWAY, Ark. (Oct. 19, 2014) – A goal in the 79th minute by Bobby Zolpher pushed the Sewanee men's soccer team to a 1-0 win over Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Hendrix, Sunday, at Warrior Field.

The win helped Sewanee improve its overall record to 5-7-1. The Tigers have also sit fifth in the conference standings with a 2-1-1 mark.

Sewanee finished with an 18-11 shot advantage while edging out the Warriors in corner kicks, 3-2.

On defense, senior goalkeeper Conrad Bandoroff posted the shutout with three saves.

Sewanee returns to action with a 7:00 p.m. match against Millsaps Friday evening at Puett Field.

The Tigers are 2-1-1 since the start of October.
