Box Score DANVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 2, 2013) – A late goal by Anne Mitchell lifted Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Centre to a 1-0 win over the Sewanee women's soccer team, Saturday.
The loss drops the Tigers' record to 10-5-1 overall and 3-3 in SAA play.
Mitchell scored the game-winner off an assist from Alex Combs in the 82nd minute.
Overall, the Colonels outshot Sewanee 22-6. Centre also managed to have 11 corner kicks.
For the Tigers, freshman Tasha Saunders led the attack with three shots.
Sewanee will now wait to see who they play in the upcoming SAA Tournament.
