Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. (Oct. 25, 2013) – Despite outshooting Southern Athletic Association (SAA) rival Hendrix 21-16, the Warriors earned a 3-0 win over the Sewanee men's soccer team on a cold Friday afternoon at Puett Field.
The Warriors netted goals by Jacob Pierce and a pair of scores by Will Dunaway.
Pierce opened with a goal in the 14th minute off an assist by Spencer Holt.
Then in the second half, Dunaway scored twice, once in the 62nd minute and then again in the 84th minute.
The Tigers were led on the attack by senior Brian Maloney, who finished with seven shots.
Additionally, Weston Stitt, Elliot Howe, and Reed Dowdy all added more than one attempt.
Sewanee will look to rebound with a 1:30 p.m., match Sunday against Rhodes.
Sunday also marks the final home contest for the Tigers this season.
