SEWANEE, Tenn. -- \#14 Washington University (Mo.) traveled to the Mountain this weekend and topped \#27 Sewanee 8-1 in DIII women's tennis action.
Lindsay Wilburn (Hilton Head, S.C., Hilton Head Christian) highlighted the Sewanee women's singles matches with a 4-6, 6-0, 6-4 comeback win at \#5. In doubles, \#1 players Julia Wood (Tulsa, Okla., Union) and Jenny Liles (Little Rock, Ark., Mount St. Mary) battled in the pro set matchup, but eventually fell 9-8 to the Klein/Kocemba team from Wash. U.
Sewanee is now 4-3 and will play Kenyon tomorrow.
