2008-09 Hoops: Sewanee at Oglethorpe - Live Stats/Audio Tonight

     The Sewane men are 3-8 and are currently 1-2 in the league. Bradley Pierson (Rome, Ga., Darlington) is leading the Tiger scoring, averaging better than 17 points per game. Senior Ben Pursell (Franklin, Tenn., BGA) recently surpassed the 1,000 point mark for his career in Sewanee's 11-point win over rival Rhodes on Sunday.
     Olethorpe is 9-3 and coming off of an 11-point loss to Birmingham-Southern on Sunday. David Allison is leading the Stormy Petrels with 192 points - good for a 16 point per game average.

     The Sewanee women are 1-9 and coming off of a midweek loss at Talladega College in Alabama. The Tigers are led by Anne Wills (Thomson, Ga., Briarwood) and Lauren Gulley (Winchester, Tenn., Franklin County) who are each averaging better than nine points per game. Sewanee split games last weekend, topping Birmingham-Southern in overtime on Friday and dropping a close fight at Rhodes on Sunday.
     Olethorpe is 12-1 and 3-0 in the SCAC. The Stormy Petrels are coming off of a 12-point win against Maryville on January 7. Anna Findley is leading the OU effot with an 18.3 point per game average.
