Joe Dombrowski enters his 12th season with the department of athletics, serving as the department's equipment manager, assistant track and field coach and photographer.
In his career, he has covered one NCAA National Champion, one Junior Nationals Qualifier, eight All-Americans, 30 NCAA qualifiers, 50 conference champions and established 60 school records.
Currently in his seventh year with the track and field programs at the University of the South, he rejoined the program in 2023 as throws coach.
Along with serving the University as the head volleyball coach in 2005-08, he was the owner and camp director of the Mountain Trails Cross Country Camp on the Domain from 2011-17.
Prior to his time on the Mountain, he was an assistant coach at RPI during the 2004-05 year and head coach of the track and field teams from 2000-04 at Hartwick College.
After starting his career as head coach of the Goucher College club team, he was an assistant at Mount Holyoke College in 1998.
Dombrowski is married to his wife, Michele, who serves as head women's lacrosse coach at the University, and they have two children, Anja and Kira.
