David Owens enters his fourth season with the University of the South men's golf program as an assistant coach. 

Owens has been one of the golf professionals at The Course at Sewanee since its reopening in the summer of 2013. 

Prior to joining the Sewanee staff, Owens has been a golf professional in the Southwest and Tennessee sections of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA).

David lists, besides being a self-proclaimed “golf nut”, fishing, skiing and cooking as his favorite hobbies.
