  • Was a four-year letterwinner in golf.
  • Was the team's MVP for three seasons.
  • Symonds was a four-time all-conference honoree and a three-year all-region selection.
  • Also named a three-time North Carolina All-State selection.
  • Was also a three-time All-Metro selection.
  • Won in inaugural "Farm Bureau Sportsmanship Award".
  • Led team to win 2014 N.C. Golf State Championship for the first time in school's history.
  • Volunteer coach with The First Tee (2013-2014).
  • Graduated with honors and as a N.C. Schoar.
  • Two-year National Technical Honor Society Member.
