SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee's women's tennis team defeated Millsaps College on Sunday morning in Jackson, Miss., 7-0.

At two doubles, Harper High and Lexi Barbee did not drop a game en route to a 19-minute, 6-0 win. At one, Lucy Lee and Emma Foster posted a 6-1 win to secure the doubles point.

In singles, Mariella Congeni collected a 6-1, 6-2 victory at line one. At two, three, and five, the Tigers dropped just three games combined. At two, Ivy Wilson won 6-0, 6-1; at three, Hanna Davis clinched the match with a 6-1, 6-0 win; and at five, Allison Bixub added a 6-0, 6-1 win. At four, Natalie Pumpelly also collected a 6-1, 6-2 victory.

The Tigers head on the road again next weekend, taking on No. 37-ranked Christopher Newport at Emory on Friday, before returning to conference play against Berry and Oglethorpe on Saturday and Sunday.
