Women's cross country finishes runner-up at Covenant Mountainside Stride

SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Sewanee women's cross country team opened the 2025 season with a runner-up finish at the Mountainside Stride, hosted by Covenant College in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Eleanor Graham led the Tigers with a fifth-place finish in 25:01, followed by Sam Ude in 11th and Elizabeth Cook in 15th. Clara Earley added a top-20 finish, placing 20th in 27:30.7.

Rounding out the top-25 for Sewanee were Molly Emmett in 22nd and Allison Haworth in 25th. The Tigers also packed in tightly from 28th through 30th, with Clara Holmes, Grace Cawley, and Vivian Bravo crossing the line in succession.

The Tigers return to action Sept. 13 as they host the Water Tower Open in Sewanee.
