ST. LOUIS - The University of the South men's tennis team had the advantage after doubles play against No. 3 Washington University in St. Louis, but the Bears rallied to win four points in singles to drop the Tigers from the 2023 NCAA Championships, 5-2, in the Round of 16 from the Tao Tennis Center.

Talman Ramsey (15-5). Trailing 6-4, the WashU duo came from behind to win the next four points to avoid the shut out, 8-6.
-From there, the momentum stayed in favor of the Bears in singles. Ramireddy tied the contest at two points apiece with his win at the No. 2.
-From there, it was all WashU, as Colin Scruggs and Phuc Huynh made it 4-2. At the No. 5, Eric Kuo clinched the match to send the Bears to the quarterfinals.
