NORMAN, Okla. - Sophomore golfer and two-time Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Player of the Year
Pearse Lucas was honored with a PING All-Region selection after his performance during the 2022-23 season.
The two-time All-SAA First Team selection makes his second appearance on the All-Region Team.
Entering the National Championships ranked 14th according to the GolfStat rankings, the Charlotte, N.C. native played in 26 rounds for the University of the South, posted a 73.5 stroke average.
Also, for the second straight year, he qualified for the NCAA Championships. After the team took ninth place in 2022, he qualified as an individualist in the 2023 event.
The University of the South men's golf team took third at the SAA Championships.
