ROME, Ga. / ATLANTA - The No. 33 University of the South men's tennis team picked up back-to-back 9-0 victories of Berry College and Oglethorpe University over the weekend to win the eighth Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Regular Season Championship.

REGULAR SEASON TITLE
-Sewanee, after winning the first seven SAA Regular Season Championships, came back in 2022 to secure the team's eighth regular season crown over the weekend.
-The Tigers will be the No. 1 seed at next weekend's SAA Tournament, which will be held in Murfreesboro, Tenn. at the Adams Tennis Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED, BERRY
-In singles, the story was at the No. 1 flight, as
Noah Holsclaw and Noah Koch split the first two sets and went into a third-set tie-break that lasted a little bit. Holsclaw won the point with the 17-15 set.

Quinn Wicklund earned his 10th win of the season with a straight-set victory at the No. 3.

Quinn Wicklund picked up their sixth straight win in doubles and are 8-3 since becoming a doubles team in early March. The sixth-best team in the region earned the 8-3 win at the No. 1 flight on Sunday.

Gil Weston have won eight straight after their 8-6 win at the No. 3 in the regular season finale.
