SEWANEE, Tenn. - The No. 30 University of the South men's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Birmingham-Southern College in a Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contest, Saturday afternoon from the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Doubles were a breeze for the Tigers, as they swept each point. At the No. 3 flight,
Liam Selvido/
Gil Weston picked up the 8-1 win.
-The top two points in singles were the grind for Sewanee. At the No. 1,
Noah Holsclaw and Hallet Green went into three straight tiebreaks, but it was Green of BSC who secured the Panthers' lone point, 7-6, 6-7, 12-10.
-Meanwhile, one point down,
Quinn Wicklund ended a three-match losing skid and picked up his eighth win of the season with a three-set win of Wilbur Dotson.

Matt Barnett picked up wins at the No. 3 and 4, respectively, to get both back in the win column.
