CONWAY, Ark. - The No. 7 University of the South women's tennis team improved to 50-0 all-time in Southern Athletic Association (SAA) contests, as the Tigers blanked the Warriors of Hendrix College, 9-0, Sunday afternoon from the University of Central Arkansas Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee had doubles handled, as the top two points posted shutouts,
Natalia Nassar and
Caroline Adams at the No. 1 and
Emma Caldwell and
Carolyn Reid at the No. 2.
-In singles,
Natalia Nassar (11-3) picked up her first win at the No. 1 flight this season with a 6-0, 6-1 set victory.

Caroline Adams picked up her eighth win overall and improved to 6-1 this spring at the No. 2, while
Emma Caldwell (6-2) improved to 5-1 this spring with the victory at the No. 3.
FIFTY STRAIGHT
-Sewanee won its 50th consecutive SAA regular season match on Sunday. Since the inception of the league in 2013, the University of the South has never lost a SAA contest, regular season or postseason.
-In 10 years of women's tennis in the SAA, the Tigers are 277-13 (95.5%) in singles and 130-14 (90.3%) in doubles.
