Men’s Tennis Falters Against WashU

SEWANEE, Tenn. - The No. 21 University of the South men's tennis team suffered a 9-0 setback to No. 11 Washington University (Mo.), Saturday from the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center.

WashU is ranked second in the latest NCAA Central Regional Rankings and 19th in the final 2020 ITA National Rankings.

-WashU raced past Sewanee in doubles play to take the 3-0 lead.

-Jackson Davis forced a second set tiebreak at No. 5 singles, but the Bears ultimately finished the match with the sweep.
