SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee swimming and diving teams captured wins on Saturday, as the women's team defeated Transylvania, 162-102, and the men, 149-81, from the Fowler Center Pool.

MEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Swimming in the 1,000 freestyle for the first time this season, sophomore Lee Haber won the event with a 10:21.92. He also helped win the 400 medley relay with Anthony Carbone, Wiley Reddick and James Hoyt with a 3:47.88.
-James Hoyt's time of 1:51.92 in the 200 freestyle is the third-best this season. He also improved his season best in the 500 free with a winning time of 4:57.01.
-Anthony Carbone recorded a winning time of 1:00.25 to win the 100 back to earn the fastest time this season in the event. He also sprinted to a 22.75-second mark in the 50 free. He also won the 100 free with a 50.04-second time.
-Wiley Reddick took home wins in the 100 and 200 butterfly, swimming to times of 55.72 seconds and 2:05.32, respectively.
-Thomas Young finished with a 2:12.63 mark in the 200 backstroke to win the event.
WOMEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Kate Mabry won three events on her own Saturday, taking home top times in the 100 backstroke (59.97 seconds), 100 butterfly (59.69 seconds) and the 100 individual medley (1:01.87). She also helped the quartet of Kate del Balzo, Gabby Acker and Anna Hawkins Dulaney to a win in the 400 medley relay with a 4:17.57 time.
-Improving her personal best of 1:03.01 in the 100 IM, the freshman recorded a new school record in the event, surpassing Sara Neil's 1:02.21 mark in 2010.
-With her finishes in the 100 back and 100 fly, she now holds the best times in each event this season.
-On the boards, Noel Whitlock earned a new school record on the one-meter dive, scoring 250.57 points. She also won the three-meter dive, posting 228.37 points.
- Acker finished with wins in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.09) and 200 breaststroke (2:32.63). The time in the 200 breast is a season-best.
-del Balzo swam to a 2:09.31 mark in the 200 free to take home top honors.
-Dulaney secured the win in the 100 freestyle, swimming to a 58.9-second finish.
