Home to our basketball, volleyball, swimming and diving teams and an indoor facility for tennis and track and field, there is also a 37,000-square-foot fieldhouse with three basketball courts for recreation and practice facility for our outdoor teams, as well as an indoor track.

Also including is a nine-lane pool, racquetball and squash courts and a rock-climbing wall. The facility also includes a weight room, multiple locker room facilites for Sewanee and visiting teams and an athletic training room.

The $11.3 millon project also saw renovations to Juhan Gymansium, home to the University of the South's basketball and volleyball programs.

In 2023, the facility unveiled new furniture, including sitting space by the natatorium and table-top seating for study sessions, and touch screens at the main entrance where prospective student-athletes can see the history of Sewanee Athletics, including Hall of Fame members, All-Americans, etc.

Additionally, the Tiger Fuel Station was opened in the winter in 2023, giving opportunities for student-athletes to recover after practice properly and has an area for teams to provide warm post-practice of post-game meals. Also unveiled was the redesign of the classroom for team meetings and film sessions.Â
