MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Sewanee volleyball team earned a split in a tri-match on Sunday hosted by Berry College, as the Tigers dropped the opener with Berry before taking the win over Agnes Scott Sunday afternoon at the Cage Center.
Match 1: Berry 3, Sewanee 0
The Tigers were unable to find an answer with Berry (22-4, 14-0), who finish the conference schedule undefeated for the first time in school history, as the Vikings defeat the visitors in straight sets, 25-18, 25-16, 25-9.
Peyton Parent recorded 16 digs for the Tigers.
Match 2: Sewanee 3, Agnes Scott 0
Sewanee bounced back in their second match of the day, defeating Agnes Scott, 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.
The Tigers (12-12, 5-9) limited their opponent to a .056 attack percentage (22-16-107), while posting a percentage of .233 (42-15-116).
Stewart posted her 10th double-double of the season with 16 kills on a .394 attack percentage (16-3-33) and 12 digs, to go along with three of the team's 13 service aces.
Parent added 21 digs and four service aces.
Sewanee will next travel to Covenant for the final road match of the regular season on Thursday night.
