MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Sewanee Swimming and Diving Teams fell in a Saturday dual meet at Berry at The Cage Center.

MEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-James Hoyt took home top honors in the 1,000 freestyle (10:21.81), the 200 butterfly (2:02.71) and tied for the win with Cole Beddingfield at Berry in the 100 butterfly (54.75 seconds)
-Lee Haber swam to victories in three events: the 200 freestyle (1:46.95), 500 freestyle (4:51.25) and the 200 individual relay (2:03.97).
-Anthony Carbone won two events on Saturday, taking home the 100 breaststroke (1:00.82) and the 100 free (48.72 seconds).
WOMEN'S TOP PERFORMERS
-Kate Mabry won two events and set three new personal bests on Saturday. In the 100-yard backstroke, the freshman earned a personal mark with a 1:00.50, shedding 0.38 seconds from her previous best.
-In the 200 backstroke, the Nashville, Tenn. native earned her third 2:12 time in the event, but earned a personal best by less than 0.2 seconds.
-She also earned a personal best in the 50 free, swimming to a 25.16-second time.
-Noel Whitlock won both one-meter diving events, securing 178.92 and 212.02 points, respectively.
Sewanee will return home for the next two weekends. The Tigers will next host the Pioneers of Transylvania Saturday, Nov. 10 at the Fowler Center Pool in a dual meet, beginning at 1 p.m.
