Track and Field Announces 2019-20 Schedule

2019-20 Men's Track & Field Schedule | 2019-20 Women's Track & Field Schedule

SEWANEE, Tenn. - Announced by first-year head coach Bill Cooper, the Sewanee track and field teams have released the 2019-20 schedule.

Indoor Season
The Tigers will start the indoor season on Friday, Dec. 6 with split-squad action. Some student-athletes will head to Birmingham for the BSC Indoor Icebreaker at the Birmingham CrossPlex, while others will remain on the Domain to compete in the Sewanee Early Season Invitational.

The teams will be back at the CrossPlex on Jan. 24-25 for the Green and Gold Invitational, hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

The Tigers will next host two invites in the Fowler Center Fieldhouse with the Tiger Indoor Invitational on Feb. 1 and the Sewanee Indoor Invitational on Feb. 14.

If any athletes qualify, the 2020 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be on March 13-14 in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Outdoor Season
Sewanee opens the outdoor schedule on March 7 at Berry College with the Victor Ice Breaker Duals.

The next weekend, the Tigers will be in Birmingham for the 'Southern Invitational on March 13-14.

At the end of March, Sewanee will compete in Atlanta at the Emory Classic on Mar. 27-28.

As the calendar turns to April, the Tigers will be in Rome, Ga. once again for the Berry Field Day Invitational on April 10-11.

The regular season concludes with the Mountain Laurel Twilight Invitational on the Domain on Friday, April 17.

The 2020 Southern Athletic Association Track and Field Championships will be hosted by Rhodes College in Memphis on April 24-25.

Sewanee will look to compete in two meets in May at North Central (Ill.): Dr. Keeler Invitational (May 7-8) and Gregory Invitational (May 13-14).

If any athletes qualify, the 2020 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships will be on May 21-23 in Rochester, N.Y.
