No. 12 Men’s Tennis Suffers Setback Versus No. 22 Tufts

MALIBU, Calif. - The 12th-ranked Sewanee men's tennis team were downed by the Jumbos of Tufts University, ranked 22nd in the nation, 6-3, Sunday afternoon, at Pepperdine University.

-Sewanee avoided the shutout in doubles play with a tiebreak win at the No. 3 flight. Jack Metzger and Brandon Kali won the point 8-7 (7-4).

-In singles, Jack Gray and Jordan Brewer won their respective positions, but the match was won thanks to four points by the Jumbos.
