SEWANEE, Tenn. - Announced by head coach Max Obermiller, the Sewanee men's and women's swimming and diving teams have released its 2019-20 schedule.
Sewanee will start the season on the road on Oct. 12 with a dual meet with Life University in Marietta, Ga.
At the end of October, the Tigers will host the Sewanee Invitational on the 25th and 26th.
Following a week off, Sewanee will remain at home facing Southern Athletic Association foe Berry in a dual on Nov. 9.
The next weekend, the Purple and Gold will be in the State of Kentucky. On Saturday, Nov. 15, the Tigers will tangle with the Colonels of Centre in a dual. The next day, they will take on Transylvania.
The Tigers return home for the final time in the Advent Semester the following weekend, Nov. 22-23, with the Igloo Invitational.
The semester action concludes on Dec. 7-8 with the Transylvania Invite.
Following Christmas break and the team's annual mid-season trip to Puerto Rico, Sewanee will have two duals in the month of January. First, the home slate concludes with a contest with Birmingham-Southern on Friday, Jan. 10.
The regular season concludes with a dual with cross-state rival Rhodes on Jan. 18.
The 2020 SAA Championships will take place once again in Birmingham, Ala. at the CrossPlex Aquatic Center Feb. 12-15. With Millsaps officially adding swimming and diving as a varsity sport in 2019-20, seven of the eight SAA charter members will represent themselves at the conference meet.
Both the men's and women's teams finished in fifth place at last year's SAA Championship meet.
