HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Majors started the contest with a 32nd goal by Gabriel Ryce from Brett Judd.

-From there until the end of the period, Millsaps held Sewanee to one shot by Andrew Turk in the 45th minute, but the Majors keeper kept the ball from going in.

-After each team took five shots in the opening period, the Tigers came out firing. The team out-shot their opponents, 13-4, in the final 90 minutes of regulation. However, an opportunity rose for Sewanee in the 80th minute. After a Millsaps foul in the box, Severin Velasco drained the penalty kick goal for his third of the season. That tied the contest at one goal apiece.

-No team could not score the game-winning goal in regulation, so the contest was forced into overtime.

-In the first extra period, the Tigers saw five shots and did not allow the Majors to a shot, but after 100 minutes, the match would go into a second overtime.

-Millsaps had three opportunities to win the contest. After a shot saved by James Murray and an offside, the third time was the charm. Kaleb Newton passed to Austin Miller, who flicked the shot off his head for the game-winner in the 105th minute to advance to the semifinals.

-The Majors will next play Centre, who defeated Birmingham-Southern in the semifinals on Friday, Nov. 8 on the campus of Oglethorpe University.
