SEWANEE, Tenn. - Announced by Sewanee men's and women's head golf coach Nate Parrish, the teams have announced the fall portion of their 2019-20 schedule.
The men's team will start the season on the weekend of Aug. 31 and Sept. 1 with the Transylvania Fall Invitational in Lexington, Ky.
The next weekend, the Tigers head to the site of the 2020 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships in the GreyStone Golf Club in Dickson, Tenn. for the SAA Preview. The teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Sept. 8.
Two weeks later, Sept. 22-23, Sewanee heads to Tunica, Miss. for the Rhodes Fall Collegiate Golf Classic at the Tunica National Golf Club.
The month of October begins with the Royal Lakes Fall Invitational, hosted by Oglethorpe University at the Royal Lakes Golf and Country Club. The tournament will take place in Flowery Branch, Ga. on Oct. 7-8.
The fall schedule concludes with the Tennessee Cup on Oct. 26-27 at The Course at Sewanee, where the Tigers will face the Lynx of Rhodes College.
The women's squad will begin the season Sept. 1 with a tri-match with Oglethorpe and Belmont at The Course at Sewanee.
Next, the team will travel to Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., the site of the 2020 NCAA Women's Golf Championships, for the NCAA Division III National Preview at the PGA National Resort. The event will take place Sept. 14-15.
Two weeks later, Sept. 28-29, Sewanee will head to Montgomery, Ala. for the Montgomery Country Club Women's Intercollegiate. The Tigers have previously won this event twice in the last four years (2015, 2017).
The team will wrap up the fall schedule Oct. 13-15 with the Golfweek Division III Fall Invitational at Miramar Beach, Fla.
