Men’s Golf in Fourth Through Two Rounds at SAA Championships

DICKSON, Tenn. - The Sewanee men's golf team will enter the final round of the 2019 Southern Athletic Association Men's Golf Championships with a fourth place score of 605 (311-294). The Tigers carded a second round score of 294, tied with Berry and Centre for the second-lowest score of the day.

TOP PERFORMANCES
-Tommy Oliver heads into Sunday's final round with a 148 score (74-74). The junior, after bogeying back-to-back holes on four and five, birdied 10 and 14 to get back to even par. However, he finished two-over par with bogeys on 16 and 18.

-Nick Powell jumped up seven spots to 21st with a 73 second round thanks to three birdies. Through 36 holes, the senior has a 153 (80-73).

-Gray Matthews (81-73), Basil Boyd (80-74) and Zach Russell (79-75) each have a 154 score going into Sunday.

-Nic Vandeventer has a 156 (78-78) score through two rounds of play.
