
CHICOPEE, Mass. - The Sewanee field hockey team finishes its weekend trip to Boston with a 6-0 victory over Elms Saturday from Leary Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee struck first in the 14th minute with a Hannah Tompkins goal.
-The second half, however, saw the Tigers' offense came to life with five goals on 13 total shots.
-48 seconds into the second half, Anne Cleveland found Hannah Tompkins' pass to make it 2-0.
-Ceara Caffrey added scores in the 55th and 57th minute.
-The Tigers added two more goals late in the final 10 minutes: Hadley Meadows (65th minute) and Eliza Griffin (69th minute).
SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-For the match, the Tigers took 25 total shots while allowing just one shot for the Blazers.
-Ceara Caffrey added two more goals for the Tigers on five total shots, three on goal.
-Anne Cleveland, Eliza Griffin, Hadley Meadows and Hannah Tompkins each added a goal for the visitors.
-Kadie Hicks (4-1) played 57 minutes in the cage, while Rachel Blum played the final 13 minutes.
