SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee equestrian coaching staff of Karine Gordy and Emily Cavender have announced summer camps at the Sewanee Equestrian Center.
The team will host an Eventing Camp on June 3-7 and a Hunter Seat Equitation Camp on June 10-14. The cost of each camp is $500 for the week.
For the Eventing Camp, riders must be able to tack up independently, walk/trot/canter and jump small jumps. Each camper must have some competitive experience with schooling or recognized shows.
For the Equitation Camp, riders must be able to tack up independently, be comfortable at walk/trot/canter and be confident working over ground poles or fences.
Riders may bring their personal horse or lease a Sewanee school horse for $25 per day.
