Box Score SEWANEE, Tenn. (Sept. 8, 2013) – Despite holding offensive MVP Mackenzie Lund scoreless Sunday, the Sewanee men's soccer team dropped a tough 3-0 contest against Kyle Rote Jr. Invitational Champion St. Olaf at Puett Field.
The Oles finished with goals from Kevin Skrip, Nick Lund, and Aaron Miller.
Despite the score, the Tigers battled hard against unbeaten St. Olaf. Sewanee finished with nine shots while sophomore keeper Jacob Zalewski added six saves.
Individually, Weston Stitt, William White, and Ford Emerson each had two attempts.
Additionally, midfielders Walker Ueland and Paul Campbell received all-tournament honors.
Sewanee will now look to earn its first win with a 5:00 p.m. match against LaGrange next Saturday in Birmingham, Ala.
