Women's cross country team ranked seventh in South/Southeast poll

NEW ORLEANS, La. (Oct. 31, 2012) – In the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings, the Sewanee women's cross country team is currently ranked seventh in the South/Southeast Region.

Last week, the Tigers finished second at the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championships. Additionally, Ansely McDurmon, Cara Martin, Amy Lee, and Willow Smith earned all-conference honors. In fact, that total was the most any Tiger team has had since head coach Jeff Heitzenrater arrived at Sewanee.
