Suzy Cahill made an immediate impact for the Tigers after she arrived on the Mountain as a freshman. In her first-year in the pool, Cahill set school records in the 200 Free, 200 Individual Medley, 400 Individual Medley, 100 Backstroke, and 200 Backstroke. A year later as a sophomore, Cahill continued to dominate her opponents. After setting a new school record in the 50 Backstroke, Cahill broke her own previous records in the 200 Free and 400 IM. Additionally, Cahill was the highest scorer for the Tigers with 266.75 points. As a senior, Cahill was the Tigers’ leading scorer with 236 individual points. She also set six additional school records, leaving Sewanee as the program’s 200 Free, 500 Free, 1000 Free, 1650 Free, 200 IM, and 400 IM record holder.
