Ryan Harrigan, C'98 was a men's basketball Division III first team All-America, All-South, three-time All-SCAC, two-time SCAC Player of the Year, Academic All-American and also received an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship. He scored 1675 career points, which is second on Sewanee's all-time list and second all-time for the SCAC. Harrigan leads the SCAC in career field goals made with 694. He led the league in scoring in 1997 and '98 and led the league in field goal percentage in 1996. Harrigan was also a member of two teams that played in the NCAA Tournament, including the only Sewanee basketball team to win an NCAA tournament competition (1997).
