Matt Martelli was a four-time All-Conference selection in the 100 butterfly, including winning the event for three straight years.
- 2002 - 51.21 seconds (champion)
- 2003 - 50.89 seconds (champion)
- 2004 - 50.56 seconds (champion)
- 2005 - 51.05 seconds (second place)
Martelli was named an NCAA All-American in 2004 with a 50.53-second time, which still holds as a school record.
In addition, he was a four-time selection in the 200 butterfly. He captured silver in three of the four years.

- 2003 - 1:57.22 (third)
- 2004 - 1:54.25 (second)
- 2005 - 1:54.92 (second)
Martelli's 1:54.25 mark is the second-best in program history in the 200 fly.
A two-time Academic All-American by CoSIDA, the SCAC honored Martelli on the 15th Anniversary Team in 2005.
