Hank Haynes, C'63 was a two-time wrestlingSoutheastern Champion for Sewanee at 123 pounds, beating wrestlersfrom Auburn and Georgia for the titles. Haynes earned 10 varsityletters while on the mountain as a wrestler, baseball player andfootball manager. He was the outstanding male athlete at Sewaneehis senior year.
