Dan Davis, C’65 – Davis was athree-year letterwinner and starter at linebacker and fullback forthe Tigers’ football team… after transferring fromVanderbilt and spending two-years serving in the U.S. Army, Davisled the Tigers to a 20-4-1 overall record over the next threeseasons… Davis was a key contributor to the 1963 and 1964CAC Championship teams… in 1963, Davis led a Tiger defensethat gave up only 45 points and finished with a perfect 8-0record…. Davis was also named a Little All-American atlinebacker.
