Steve Lohn enters his fourth season as an assistant with the volleyball program. 

Sewanee Head Volleyball Coach Shawna Laurendine announced that Steve Lohn joined the Tigers' coaching staff as an assistant coach in 2014.

In his first season, Lohn helped guide the Tigers to an 8-19 record. Three Tiger were named to the All-SAA Team, including 2014 SAA Defensive Player of the Year Sara Jayne Sutton.

Lohn came to Sewanee from Southern Athletic Association rival Birmingham-Southern, where he served as an assistant coach under Judy Green in 2013.

At BSC, the Panthers finished with a 21-9 record and a third place finish in the SAA Volleyball Tournament.

Prior to his time at BSC, Lohn served as an assistant coach at rival Rhodes College from 2010-2013. During his tenure, Lohn worked with the setters and the back row and was the team's strength and conditioning coordinator.

Prior to Rhodes, Lohn was a volunteer coach for the Ole Miss Volleyball Club Team from 2009-2010 after serving as manager on the Ole Miss Volleyball program from 2004-2007. Lohn began his coaching career as a volunteer assistant coach for the Mayfield Secondary School from 2001-2002.
