Two Tigers Named Women’s Soccer All-SAA

SAA Release | 2017 All-SAA Women's Soccer Team

ATLANTA - Announced on Monday by the Southern Athletic Association (SAA), two Sewanee women's soccer players were tabbed All-Conference. Mary "Sissy" Frank was selected to the First Team, while Erin Gill was selected to the Second Team.

Frank led the Tigers in offense with six goals and three assists, totaling 15 points. The four-time First Team All-SAA member finishes her Sewanee career with 12 goals and 32 total points.

Gill was a strong supporter of Sewanee's backfield in 2017. The three-time All-SAA member helped the Tigers to a 1.78 goals against average this season. Moving to the back line this season, the junior has seven goals and eight assists in 49 career matches.

Sewanee finished 6-9-2 overall in 2017, and the team finished as a semifinalist in the SAA Women's Soccer Tournament.
